If you do not provide comments on PayPal page, it will be hard to connect your payment to your registration information. All refunds will be deducted with a processing fee based on the amount set in that specific class ($35 minimum). We record all our online classes (video record). New students need to go through training and pass necessary tests to be eligible for entering a robotics team. If a student wants to join a team, the team will conduct a formal interview. The student must commit to the team’s plan and must be able to finish the season if he/she takes a core role in the team. The parent must sign an agreement with the team to commit the required efforts and time set by the team.

Students in the club will design, build, test and program a robot using sensors, controllers and actuators. Students will form a team to participate in qualifying competitions from November 2024 to March 2025. Regular meetings are Friday evening 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM online and one 2-hour in person specific to the team’s convenience. Extra meetings are expected during the competition season. No class during long weekend or holidays. 50% of your club membership fee will be refunded if the student decides to withdraw within a month. No refund after one month. The membership fee doesn’t cover competition fees (team registration, team competition fee, t-shirt fee, lodging and meals if out of state, etc.) are not covered in the membership fee. This progrom is offered to students of grade 4-8. They will engage in research, design, coding as well as engineering/building a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. Students will also develop the problem-solving skills, presentation ability and team-work spirit during Club activities. The club meet schedule is 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Sundays. More sessions will be added per students’ schedule. We will use LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 as a teaching material to guide students in building various mechanical components or designs with LEGO. The project-based lessons through the game, introduces the concept of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) and cultivates children’s ability to learn across fields and tackle problems in the real world through hands-on work. We encourage children to work together, share different ideas, understand and respect different perspectives among their peers, practice, find answers to problems they might encounter, and establish their understanding of science and technology to increase their potential. The club meet schedule is 6:30~8:00 pm on Tuesdays. 50% of your club membership fee will be refunded if the student decides to withdraw within a month. No refund after one month. New Enrollment: 2024 AOE STEM/Robotics Summer Camp
How much time does your child sit in front of the computer and plays video game every day? How would you keep them engaged in learning new technology in summer? Join our Robotics Summer camp! We will inspire your child to reduce time sitting in front of a computer and instead to utilize the technology to promote team work, hands-on ability, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
STEM Summer Camp Junior (for students 6- 11 years old)
This program focuses on hands-on activities to promote STEM education. Students will learn basic programming skills via Open-Roberta. They will also build and program a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. In addition, students will learn engineering concepts through fun projects. This program will foster a love of learning STEM for our young kids.
STEM Summer Camp (for students above 11 years old)
Students will have opportunities to build a robot. In the meantime, they will learn programming, robot system architecture and communications. CAD will be introduced to the students for robot design. During the design process, students will learn about the engineering process to brainstorm, design, build, test and redesign. At the end of each session, students will present their robot design process and have robot competition among the members.
Schedule: (9:00 am ~4:00 pm), before camp care and after camp care will be provided with extra fees.
