STEM Instructor

A leading STEM educational institution is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated STEM Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching computer programming classes and coaching our robotics team, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Computer Programming Classes
•Develop and deliver comprehensive computer programming curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
•Employ innovative teaching methods and tools to facilitate interactive and hands-on learning experiences.
•Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
2. Coach Robotics Teams:
•Guide and mentor students participating in our robotics team, fostering teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
•Coordinate and oversee the design, construction, and programming of robots for competitions and projects.
•Organize and facilitate regular team meetings, workshops, and practice sessions to prepare students for upcoming events and challenges.
Educational Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
•Strong knowledge and expertise in computer programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
•Experience with robotics design, construction, and programming.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and pursue STEM disciplines.
•Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage classroom instruction, project deadlines, and team activities effectively.
